California Screw Products (CalScrew) was founded in 1984 to meet the needs of the aerospace industry for high quality and high precision aerospace fasteners. It leads the way in the fastener manufacturer industry as featured in the Quality Management Magazine's 2010 Quality Leadership 100 article on January 29, 2010.

It receives certifications from Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Management System, and maintains its association with Industrial Fasteners Institute (IFI). CalScrew’s CEO is also a former IFI chairman. This means that CalScrew is on the forefront of acting on issues affecting the fastener industry, such as raw materials, new standards & specifications, and government legislations and regulations.
